Shoes are an accessory. At least that’s what men, mothers and our conscience say. For many of us, me included, shoes aren’t only an accessory. They’re real allies during our day, therapeutical when we’re in a bad mood, perfect to fill every available space of the house and let us whisper “They’re never enough!”. I must admit, I own a lot of shoes. To be honest, I never counted and I think it’s better if I never even begin with it! 🙂 I wouldn’t want to be caught up in guilt, we never know what might happen!
Le scarpe sono un accessorio. Almeno questo è quello che dicono gli uomini, le mamme e la nostra coscienza. Per molte di noi, me compresa, le scarpe non sono solo un accessorio. Sono delle vere e proprie alleate della nostra giornata, terapeutiche quando siamo di cattivo umore, perfette per riempire ogni angolo della nostra casa e farci sospirare “non sono mai abbastanza“. Di scarpe, devo ammettere, che ne ha davvero tante. A dir la verità non le ho mai contate e credo sia meglio non inizia a farlo! 🙂 Non vorrei mai farmi prendere dai sensi di colpa, non sia mai!
Passion is different for every woman, and that’s a fact. Some love the very high heels, others prefer flats, some collect sandals, others colored numbers or maybe total black. Some are always up to date and others prefer the “evergreen” they’ll never grow tired of. Then there’s the pretty shoes, just like the ones you see in these pictures. I am well aware of the fact I should wear them without tights, but in Milan the temperature was so cold I would have looked silly. I’m sorry for this little inconvenience, but the desire to try them on and wear them was so bad I couldn’t resist to wait for the sun and spring’s more typical warm weather! La passione, è noto, ha sfaccettature diverse da donna a donna. C’è chiama i tacchi vertiginosi, chi le ballerine, chi colleziona sandali, chi le vuole colorate e chi invece preferisce andare quasi sempre sul nero. Ci sono quelle che cavalcano la moda del momento e gli evergreen di cui non ci stancheremo mai. Ci sono poi le sfiziose, proprio come quelle che vedete ai miei piedi in queste foto. Sì, lo so che avrebbero dovuto essere indossate senza collant, ma purtroppo a Milano la temperatura, nonostante siamo alla fine di marzo, di clemente non ha assolutamente nulla ed era decisamente troppo audace farmi immortalare con vestito ed open toe lasciando nel cassetto le calze. Mi scuso quindi per questo “piccolo” inconveniente ma la voglia di provarle ed indossarle era troppo forte per aspettare il sole e la temperatura davvero primaverile!
