During my Tuscan stay, I only managed to spend half a day in Lucca, due to the – alas – impending return to Milan. But in those few hours I got to appreciate its shape and texture. Paved streets, towers allowing you to enjoy extraordinary views, stone walls and great food. That’s just the thing with Tuscany: you can never go wrong

Ho dedicato a Lucca solo mezza giornata a causa del rientro a Milano che – ahimè – incombeva, ma ho avuto modo, in quelle poche ore, di apprezzarne forma e consistenza. Vie lastricate, torri che permettono una visuale straordinaria, pareti in pietra e buon cibo. In Toscana è sempre così: si casca sempre in piedi

For snooping through doors and gates, greenery and the amphitheater I opted for simplicity and sensibleness: sneakers, a large bag and sunglasses. Definitely nothing groundbreaking, and absolutely no trace of heels –that’s the real tourist way! 🙂

Per curiosare fra porte e portoni, verde ed anfiteatro ho scelto la semplicità abbinata alla praticità: sneakers ai piedi, una borsa capiente ed occhiali da sole. Decisamente nessuna pretesa e centimetri di tacco inesistenti, d’altrocanto il vero turista esce così! 🙂
