I love water. Among all natural elements I think that water is the one that represents me the most. How could one live without water? I have found water in the most beautiful places I have ever visited; those same places that have gone through my heart leaving golden sparks on their way. I feel at home as soon as I see water and, of course, I have found some also in Dubai. Yes, because Dubai is one of the seven Emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates. It is located on the coast of the Persian Gulf overlooking the sea. It represents one of the most important commercial ports of the whole world, and its history melts with the sea itself (back in the time the fishing industry was the main livelihood for local people).

You can’t miss Dubai Marina, a district of Dubai that overlooks The Palm – also called Palm Jumeirah –  a group of artificial archipelago that consist of a trunk with 17 leaves. The island is long 5km in length and 5km in diagonal, allowing an increase of 56km in the costal development of Dubai. If you fancy you can even book an helicopter tour to check The Palm from above. Here come a few shots that I have taken from the boat. This whole experience made me as happy as a child.

See you tomorrow
