Time goes by very slowly. Sunrise and sunset mark the beginning and the end of fasting hours during Ramadan. Everything runs around these two moments, including the rhythm of those who came here just to discover the beauties of this country.
Sunset is probably the most important moment of the day during this month of fasting: when the sun goes down people start living again.

If you are visiting Abu Dhabi you will surely spend a lot of time on Corniche Street. This strategic street connects different areas of the city. It is a 8 km waterfront promenade repleted with cycle paths, park areas, cafes, restaurants, as well as the famous Corniche beach. This is one of Abu Dhabi’s best beaches which was awarded “Blue Flag” status because of its high standards of safety, quality, and cleanliness.

The best way to explore Corniche St is by renting a bike from one of the four bike shops located along the promenade. I suggest you to do it at sunset in order to enjoy the extraordinary colors that pain the Arabian Gulf. Don’t be surprised if your camera lens fogs straight away – humidity here can be tough. Be patient and your lens will be clean before you know it!
