Oh yeah, I just landed all the way to the other side of the world.
When I found out about the possibility of flying to Los Angeles, I couldn’t believe that it would have happened for real… but here I am. I am feeling overwhelmed by excitement and adrenaline. Why am I here? To attend a dreamy international event; Hamilton – I have been working with this famous brand during the last few months (do you read my articles here??!?*) – along with Los Angeles Confidential – the premiere luxury, lifestyle publication in Los Angeles – are throwing the seventh edition of a very special event, that is to say the Behind The Camera Awards.
Every year Hamilton hosts the Hamilton Behind The Camera Awards in Hollywood. This event aims at paying tribute to special artists and professionals who manage to leave a mark within the movie industry. The awards aim at celebrating the highly creative work that is realized “behind the cameras” in order to shape a successful movie. Whether it is about writing a script or choosing the right costumes, the work behind the camera plays an essential role. This is the reason why Hamilton decided to honor this work that runs the risk of being forgotten and underestimated.
The event will be take place on Sunday night, but before that we are going to explore the city!
After having such a long flight – I had a stop over in London and then a loooong flight all the way to Los Angeles – I have been greeted by an amazing team that took me to the Hollywood Hotel (is it a dream?). I managed to rest a little bit before getting ready to go to the amazing Rooftop by Gordon Ramsay.
I had the opportunity to experience the magic atmosphere of Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants when I was in Sardinia; however, I must admit that the here the vibe is even more magical. Maybe it is because of this unique Hollywood feeling and because I am sharing my night with some amazing people. Or maybe it is because this is my first time so far away from home and everything feels so unique! However, I must say that I am feeling extremely excited and I really hope that you will follow me through this adventure overseas.
