Every last Sunday of the month Milan fills its streets with art, design and antiques. The flea market takes place on a 2 km path off the shore of Naviglio – the oldest canal of Milan. The flea market path goes from viale Gorizia to via Valenza.
The market hosts more than 380 stalls that have been carefully chosen and that turn this market into such an important event.
The uniqueness of this open air exhibition stands in its location and in its turnout; more than 150.000 people attend the market.
At the market one can find a number of different antique stalls offering forniture, watches, porcelains, silver, jewels, toys, books, glasses, radios, glasses, sticks, comics, and prints. All nearby restaurants and shops are open in order to make this Sunday experience even more special. If you are in town during the last Sunday of the month, you certainly can’t miss the Naviglio market. I am sure that you will be enchanted by the quality and the quantity of its goods; and I am also sure that you will come back home carrying a small package that brings a new story into your life.
