Sometimes you feel like getting lost; you take your car and you drive away. You cross the border, and you end up thinking that at the end of the day borders don’t exist anymore. You leave a city behind in order to explore a new one. You walk, you get lost, and you end up finding yourself again. You allow all kinds of thoughts to move freely in your head, and you end up with an empty mind – just as if you were running and you exhaled air from your lungs. Sometimes this is what weekends are for. Sometimes it is better to take a Monday off and to allow your head to float away. I spent 24 hours in Lugano and I managed to restore my energy cuddled by the calm of the lake and its swans, along with the sunshine and a good book. Maybe when you are on a solo journey you actually manage to forget about what is good and what is bad, what is right and what is wrong. Lightness beats heavy feelings.

If you find yourself around this area I suggest you to enjoy the city spending some time far away from all the shops and the tourists. Grab a good book, some good music, and a good company in order to enjoy some relax.
