The sea is absolutely incredible and you cannot miss the chance to go on a boat ride. Firstly because the water is crystalline and it is worth enjoying it far from the shore; and secondly because it allows you to discover some spots that you would never reach otherwise. And believe me when I say that this experience is worth the journey.
A few days ago my heart got stolen by one of the most famous and beautiful spots of the island: Blue Grotto. This cave can be reached only by joining a guided boat tour or by renting a small boat. The Mediterranean sea features a number of shades within its crystalline waters, and riding a boat is the best way to enjoy its beauty. The Blue Grotto cave is natural rock formation; visiting it a real unique experience. This side of the island is still wild; all the main characteristics of its surrounding natural environment are protected from human intervention, allowing visitors to enjoy this extraordinary natural wonder.
Here come a few pictures I have taken during my tour. The boat ride lasts around 20 minutes and it costs 8 euro per person (children pay 4 euro).
Stay tuned,
Laura
